B&E Supports George Mason High School’s Robotics Team
May 10, 2008 - Fairfax, VA >>
DETAILS: Buchanan & Edwards is proud to support George Mason High School‘s Robotics Team. Team 1418, or Vae Victus — meaning “woe of the vanquished” in Latin — as they call themselves, recently took 1st Place out of 60 other high schools at the 2008 Chesapeake Regional FIRST Robotics Competition. The team has since been working to raise enough funds to attend the National Competition in Atlanta, GA. B&E has sent a donation to help support Team 1418 at the National Competition and other future endeavors. “We wanted to get involved because Team 1418 is a prime example of kids in our community learning and growing from technology. Technology is the future and we need young people to embrace it; this is a cause that is near and dear to our hearts.” — Brian Karlisch, CEO
