FBI Recognizes Members of BE's IDW Team for Leadership, Innovative Development, and Customer Service

August 6, 2010 - Washington, D.C.

On Friday, August 6, 2010, the Buchanan & Edwards IDW team was recognized by the prime contractor, as well as the FBI cliets and for the noticeable improvements and smooth transition to the new release of the IDW interface. Buchanan & Edwards Project Manager was recognized for his leadership role in overseeing and directing his team through this development and implementation. One of Buchanan & Edwards' Data Engineering Leads, who served as the lead on receiving and responding to user requests, was also awarded a letter of appreciation. Both also received specially minted coins with the FBI seal and the FTTTF or ‘F-Tri-F’ seal on either side respectively, a high symbol of appreciation throughout the Bureau.

A key BE developer played an integral role in developing the new look and feel of IDW that has been received with such outstanding reviews. The Client highlighted the notable difference in the usability and appeal of the application and the extremely positive responses received in light of the new interface, reflecting greater user adoption across the Bureau.

The new look and expanded functionality of the IDW interface was developed based on individual user issues and requests that had been collected and tracked over time, providing a direct roadmap to the success of its newest release. The BE team at FBI created IDW to enable faster, easier, and safer access of information across the bureau, and BE continues to provide support focused on exceptional quality and constant innovation.
