The Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC) named Greg Parchment, Buchanan & Edwards’ CTO as a finalist for this year’s NVTC/Washington Technology Government Contractor CTO Innovator award. Nominated for his excellent leadership and introduction of innovative solutions, Mr. Parchment has exhibited a significant impact on internal and customer efficiency. “I am honored to be included as a nominee for this award along with so many other industry leaders,” said Mr. Parchment. “This is an exciting moment for the BE technology team.”

The Northern Virginia Technology Council is an association for the technology community in Northern Virginia and acts as the largest technology council in the nation. NVTC is dedicated to providing to each of its members networking and educational events along with specialized services and benefits, public policy advocacy, promotion of the regional brand as a global technology center, and a focus on philanthropy and partnerships. As part of these efforts, NVTC created the CTO Innovator Awards to recognize chief technology officers within the region’s government contracting community for their critical contributions to achieving results for their customers and their leadership within their own companies. The winner of the award will be announced on November 14th at the Tech Celebration Annual Banquet in front of more than 750 members of the technology community.

Greg Parchment's nomination for this award coincides with a number of recent initiatives to help clients develop mobile strategies and solutions as well as developing cloud based solutions to increase mission effectiveness and operational efficiency.
